Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
Acceptance of terms
By using IDKit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service.
What IDKit does
IDKit checks a photo you upload against the published US passport photo specification, entirely in your browser, and generates a compliant crop. For a one-time charge of $2.99, with no subscription, your purchase includes both the compliant photo download and a printable 4×6 sheet (6 copies) sized for standard drugstore/photo-counter printing. There are no additional tiers or upsells — one purchase covers both.
Refunds
We want you to pay only if you're satisfied. If you're not, email support@idkitapp.com within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you — no interrogation, no forms to fill out justifying why.
No guarantee of government acceptance
IDKit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of State or any other government agency. IDKit checks your photo against the published US passport photo specification on your device, but final acceptance of any photo is always at the sole discretion of the agency you submit it to. IDKit does not guarantee acceptance.
Limitation of liability
IDKit is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind beyond what's stated in these terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IDKit's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
